Emergency Support Services (ESS)

About: Emergency Support Services provides individualized support for a period of 8 weeks. Clients are supported with assessments and individualized case plans that target their individual goals which may include service focuses such as social isolation, mental health concerns, and/or criminal justice involvement. Individuals in this program receive weekly individual counselling, access to group-based workshops, and progress monitoring scales to support their growth. Six months of follow up is also provided. Participants must be current recipients of Ontario Works (OW) and reside in the City of Toronto. Funding is provided by Employment & Social Services – City of Toronto.
